Great news! Total Annihilation – Commander Pack was free for 48 hours from which now 24 hours are left, so grab the game freely as soon as possible. Then if you you can use Porting kit to install and play the game. Use the Windows “Offline backup setup file” installer to install the port. The game works great but the resolution should be set to 1024×768 for best visual gameplay. So change the resolution in the “options” –> “visuals”.

We are always trying to bring as much games to the Mac and on the latest Mac OS Catalina 10.15.x and above. If you want to have a sneak peak of the latest games added to Porting Kit check the ratings tab in Porting Kit and check the “latest” column. or on the porting.com website and check “sort –> latest” to see the latest added or updated ports.
For Catalina users: Make sure SIP is disabled and that the Porting Kit app is located in your Apps/Application folder. If you want SIP to be enabled, I strongly recommend Crossover for now for the time being.
Basic Portingkit Install Instructions GOG games:
1. Make sure you have downloaded the Portingkit App
2. Always read the “notes” of the game description first for additional steps!
3. Download the Total Annihilation – Commander Pack“offline backup setup” file(s) into your download folder.
4. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click “Install”
5. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder
6. The installation of the game will start, run through the install wizard.
7. After installation, exit the installer (don’t run launch the game).
8. Porting kit will say it has finished successfully.
9. Go to your local library tab and select the game and click “play”!

Total Annihilation Escalation
Total Annihilation Escalation (TAE) is a project by Wotan. You can find information regarding TA Escalation here.
Total Annihilation Patch Download
When installing it is always best to start with a clean install of Total Annihilation (TA). It is recommended that you use the GoG installer of TA. You can find that here.
For Windows, install TA as normal. Do not install TA into Program Files(x86) as this path will cause problems. If you are a Mac user, install Porting Kit, which you can find at http://paulthetall.com. You can then install Total Annihilation via the pre-configured Total Annihilation wrapper. For more detailed info see my Mac Install Guide.

Once you have installed TA you can then run the TAE installer. It should auto detect where your TA was installed and add all the necessary components for Escalation including the TA Demo Recorder. The installer works on Windows 7, Windows 10, and Mac via Porting Kit. It will also make a backup of the original TA which will be called TotalAOrig.exe. TAE Installer has not been tested in Wine on Linux. YMMV.
